On January 29, 2024, volunteers at the Red Crescent receive an emergency call from Gaza. On the other end is a six-year-old girl trapped inside a car under intense gunfire. She is the only survivor left. The operators do everything they can to keep her on the line while desperately trying to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.

Hind Rajab – Voice from Gaza is an intense and harrowing drama based on true events and the authentic emergency call to the Palestine Red Crescent Society. The film is directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania and was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, where it premiered as part of the festival’s official selection, and opened the Gaza International Women’s Film Festival. Executive producers include some of the film world’s most acclaimed names, among them Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara and Jonathan Glazer.
